Everything on this day seemed to add up to about a 1,000, which made adding everything up, pretty darn simple.
1,000 warm-up – That’s goes without saying doesnt it? I did my usual mix it up swimming, pulling, and kicking.
3 x 300 on 4:30 followed by a 100 kick
All freestyle, I played with stroke count and speed on these. Mostly held them at about 3:30 but varied the stroke count from 11 – 14, and realized that 13-14 was really the easiest as I was really able to maintain good rhythm.
3 x 200 on 3:00 followed by 3 x 100 IM on 1:45, followed by 100 kick
Smooth and mostly pretty easy. The IM’s picked up the pace a little, but with good rest, it allowed the speed to be a little higher.
To be honest, I can’t remember the rest of the practice. I’ve been so busy working on a few things, that I forgot to post this. I’ll do better in the futuer. sorry about that.
I do know that we did 4,300 for the morning, and even though I’ve fallen way off pace for the monthly goal, every little bit adds up.
