11/30/04 Breaststroke Taper Practice

Trying to taper for Zones this weekend. I’m a little behind the curve because I was traveling over Thanksgiving and swam only once.

WARMUP: 400
With fins. Swim 300 yards of drills, then 100 Freestyle.

MAIN SET: 1250
50 EZ Breast Kick on Your Back.
100 with a pull buoy, alternating Breast scull and Breast pull.
1 X 200 Breast (3:10)

Repeat the 50 Kick and 100 pull buoy
1 X 100 Breast (1:30)

Repeat the 50 Kick and 100 pull buoy
1 X 100 Breast (1:27)

Repeat the 50 Kick and 100 pull buoy
1 X 50 Breast (:40)

Repeat the 50 Kick and 100 pull buoy
1 X 50 Breast (:39)

WARMDOWN: 250
With fins. 250 EZ swim
