4 x 250 on 3:30 warm-up… WAKE UP AND SWIM!!! Pace is very important on a wake up set like this.
5 x 100 on 1:30, basically, this was the beginning of a long set, but with the pace so slow, it?s a continuation of warm-up
4 x 200 on 2:50, As the distance increased, I was just trying to hold my strokes consistant. Not cranking out any of this set as I was just plain tired today.
3 x 300 on 4:10, Pretty much the same as above. I was actually trying to stay as tightly compressed as possible on the turns, feeling my body spin quicker.
2 x 400 on 5:30, Working on alternate side breathing. Some on the right side, some on the left side, some quickly moving from right to left side. Just trying to keep in interesting.
1 x 500 in which I pulled breaststroke and freesytle alternating by either 50 or 25. I switched my drills and focus around to make sure I had fun doing it too!
