Did this in a 20-yard pool. I’m racing the 50 fly next weekend for the first time ever, so wanted to do a little fly today.
WARMUP: 1000
40 dolphin kick
40 flutter kick
40 breast kick
200 free/back
200 EZ breast kick in all positions
2 X 240 IM with pull buoy (for each stroke, do 20 kick, 20 scull, 20 swim)
TETHER SET: 440 (equivalent)
With long-belt tether: push off, pull down, 30 head-lead breast kicks, 30 hand-lead breast kicks, turn, swim back assisted.
4 X 40 Breast with tether (20 resisted + 20 assisted)
1 X 80 Breast with tether 20/20/20/20
FLY SET: 200
10 X 20 Fly with Tempo Trainer set at 1:60 (10 clicks recovery between 20s)
BREAST KICK SET: 200
5 X 40 breast kick using Zura Sidekick kickboard — 5 Rocket Launchers before each 40
WARMDOWN: 200
200 Freestyle pull, breathing every 2/ every 4.
Total Yardage: 2000
