05/08/06 Fly & Breast Practice

Did this in an 86-degree pool.

WARMUP: 800
Twice through:
25 dolphin
25 flutter
50 breast kick
200 free/back

200 breast kick with Zura Sidekick and head lead.

FLY SET: 400 + 100
With fins and Tempo Trainer set at 1:65.
Four times through the following, on :30 sendoff:

25 alternating 1 cyle Pulse Breast and 1 cycle Fly
25 2L/2R fly switch to whole-stroke fly
25 3 strokes Fly switch to Free
25 Karla drill

100 EZ

BREAST PULLOUT/BREAKOUT SET: 600 + 100
Four times through the following. The sculls are IM order by round. Took 4 bobs recovery between 25s.

50 scull with pull buoy
40 X 25
Odds: Double pulldown breast, into one stroke breast then shut-down free
Evens: Single pulldown breast, into breakout and 3 FAST strokes breast then shut-down free

100 EZ

BREAST SET: 150
4 X 25 breast on :40 sendoff, using Tempo Trainer set to beep every 10 seconds as the timer. All were under :20.

50 Breast using TT set at 10 seconds as time. [Went just under :40 (flat walls).]

WARMDOWN: 150
