Breaststroke Controlled Descend Set

Mini meet coming up this Sunday, so while I’m not doing an official taper I did want to practice some breaststroke at race pace.

WARMUP: 1000
500 kick/swim with fins.

200 breast kick, various positions

300 with pull buoy alternating 25 scull in various positions with 25 swim

MAIN SET: 600
8 X 75 breast, with calculated descend down to race pace for 100-yard breast
First 6 X 75 were on approx. 30 seconds rest. On final 2 X 75, waited till heart rate fell below 100.
