In a recent visit to Germantown Academy, we had a chance to sit down Fran Crippen’s legendary Coach, Richard Shoulberg. In watching the practice, we did see quite a few smiles from swimmers, in what’s generally known as one of the toughest training locations in the nation.
We asked Coach Shoulberg about his philosophy on training age-group swimmers, and his response follows.
