Recovery day… again… sorta.
This had some "fun" equipment, with fun in quotes because how much fun can paddles with weights strapped to them be?
Here’s the set:
2 x 1000 on 15:00 (short course yards)

– 400 free with paddles and your feet strapped together (no pull buoy)
– 300 free swim
– 200 free with weighted paddles (focus on allowing the extra weight to drop the hand to the catch)
– 100 free smooth
#2
– 400 free smooth
– 300 free with weighted paddles (I used a much heavier weight this time, 2 lbs per hand, and the hand started really dropping the way it was supposed to… not sure if it was the weight or fatigue)
– 200 free smooth
– 100 free with paddles and your feet strapped together (no pull buoy)
I like tools, that’s no secret, so this had a good mix of fun and not so fun.
