There was a long warm-up and then some 50’s.
• The first set of 50’s was 10 x 50 on 1:00 drill down stroke, swim back the same stroke that you drilled.
• The second set of 50’s was also 10 x 50 on 1:00 stroke focusing on distance per stroke and getting your count.
• The final set of 50’s was 10 x 50 on 1:00, adding no more than 2 strokes per length to your stroke count but getting your best average for the full 10 x 50’s. In other words, these last 10 are as fast as you can go, but in control of your stroke.
Good set for working stroke, and not allowing things to get out of hand when you’re trying to go fast.
