Main Set Monday – FISTS!

Swimming with fists gets you craving for a larger surface area.  That’s actually the point.

Pretty simple drill that taxes your desire for control (keeping fists in fists).  You’ll be tempted to open them up, but do yourself a favor and keep them tight until it’s time to open the hands.  The reward will be worth it.

Main Set (short course yards):
 – 12 x 100 on 1:30
  – These are done as four sets of three 100’s.  #1 is all fists.  #2 is 50 fists, 50 swim.  #3 is regular swim.

The 3rd 100 of each should feel wonderful if you’ve done this correctly.
