Main Set Wednesday – Backstroke Day

Even an old breaststroker has to give in to the demands for backstroke every once in a while.

As much as it pained me to watch 60 minutes of something I couldn’t do… the group seemed to like it.  Guess it’s all in how you spin it and the picture should tell you quite a bit. 🙂

Main Set (short course yards):
•  10 x 25 – 25 double-arm backstroke drill – 25 swim
•  4 x 100 back on 1:40 swim

•  10 x 25 – 25 reverse catch-up backstroke drill – 25 swim
•  4 x 100 back on 1:40 swim

•  12 x 25 – 6 standard circle swimming.  Odds pull on the lane line drill using left arm to pull.  Swim back – 6 reverse circle swimming.  Odds pull on the lane line drill using the right arm to pull.  Swim back.
•  4 x 100 back on 1:40 swim
