I’m going to bump up the level of this one because it was pretty tough for the noon-masters group.
In a crowded pool, there are some good ways to get fitness, technique, and keep it fun. Well… fun for the coach. 😉
Today’s practice was based on today’s drill… Mid-Pool Flips.
Main Set (short course yards):
– 20 x 25s on :30 – Odds include a flip at the close flags, then swim to the other end. Evens are swim.
– 8 x 50 on :50 – working on fast turns
– 20 x 25’s on :25 – Odds include a flip at the close flags, then swim to the other end. Evens are swim.

Yep… that last set was pretty tough. See how far you can push the interval down, and keep the turns compact and FAST!
