04/08/04 Breaststroke 4-3-2-1
This is probably my last non-taper practice before Masters Nationals, starting on April 22nd. The next two weeks, I’ll start to take more rest on my intervals, and try to increase my speed.
WARMUP: 500
500 EZ, alternating Free, Back, and Breast kick.
MAIN SET: 1300
4 X 100 Breast kick with a board, with 10 Rocket Launchers before each 100. (Held 1:53 to 1:55.)
100 EZ Recovery
4 X 75 Body-Dolphin Breast with Fins on 1:30 sendoff. (Descended 1:10 to 1:07.)
100 EZ Recovery
4 X 50 Drill/Swim Breaststroke on :55 sendoff. (Held :45.)
100 EZ Recovery
4 X 25 Breast on :30 sendoff (:10 RI). Went 9 strokes :21…10 strokes :20…11 strokes :20…11 strokes :18.
200 EZ Recovery/Warmdown
5 starts from the blocks.
