Basically, still hurting from the practice yesterday, I kinda cruised through a long warm-up, and planned on continuing the "cruise" pace, but ended up getting a little carried away, and started working really hard again. I'm gonna be sore for the meet this weekend, but... it's not trials, so I guess it doesn't really matter:1,000 warm-up 200's swim/pull/kick/swim/stroke7 x 50 on :50 basic warm-up continuation3 sets of the following:2 x 150 on 2:05 - pull2 x 100 on 1:25 - swim4 x 50 kick on 1:00 - IM orderI basically held the 150's and 100's under a 1:10 / 100 pace, until the last 150 pull, which I swam in 1:30. It hurt pretty bad, and I felt like my hands were flailing a bit, but... I went fast, so... cool.10 x 100 - 5 on 1:30, 5 on 1:25I went the 1st 5 swim, and the last 5 pull, just so I could continue to hold the pace around 1:10, and got the last 100 at a :58, which was cool again. I love breaking a minute for any 100, and I'm glad I can still do it.I can't remember what else we did, but I know there was something, as we all bantered about the total, which was 4,450, which was a little off my 5,000/day goal, but I'm still ahead of the monthly goal pace.My February total is now at 18,250.
