I did it again. Twice in one week! I'm going to have to start my taper soon. Here we go:1,000 warm upI did 200 free, 200 kick, 200 free, 200 pull, 200 free. I was thinking about just keeping long and smooth. I forgot to shave again, and the problem with that is I cut up my shoulder with my stubble. I create a raw patch on my shoulder that hurts when I swim freestyle. This means I'm staying nice and close to my face while my arm is going forward, but it really hurts. So, that's one of the main reasons I switch off some in the warm-up.4 x 200 on 3:2050 breast – 150 free, 50 free – 50 breast – 100 free, 100 free – 50 breast – 50 free, 150 free – 50 breast: I like these kind of alternating sets, where I can swim a little breaststroke without having to swim too much so that my stroke falls completely apart. Just tried to keep it smooth.10 x 50 - 5 on :55 stroke, 5 on :50 freeThese were supposed to be fast, but it's all relative isn't it? I'm so out of shape right now, I was holding about :35 - :36's on the breaststroke, and then was going about the same on the freestyle. So much for fast.10 x 100 4 kick on 2:00 3 free on 1:25 3 free on 1:20I worked the kick on this set, holding my breaststroke kicks all under 1:25, then I just kinda went through the motions on the freestyle, reaching and rolling, and making the interval.8 x 25 kick dolphin on :40 – all fastI put on my PDF fins, and tried to do all of these underwater... so.... by the 4th one... I, well... NEEDED TO PRACTICE MY BACKSTROKE DOLPHIN... yeah... that's it. And we all know you're not allowed to go past 15 yards... so I HAD to come up. Man do I need work.Again, great group, and Jen gave the practice this morning. She's cool and everybody is having a good time. What more can you ask for.
