Loved the pool this morning. First time it was turned the other direction. It was the same distance, but it was nice to be swimming the other way. Small changes make me happy. :)
1,000 warm-up
Pretty standard mix of swim/kick/pull/swim
Main Set was pretty much the entire practice:
2 x 500 on 7:30 (200 free/100 breast/200 free) - Goal was to keep them under 6:00. Good rest.
4 x 250 on 3:45 (100 free/50 breast/100 free) - Goal was to keep them under 3:10. Hey, I was getting tired.
4 x 100 on 1:25 (freestyle) - just hold very steady and smooth
1 x 100 easy
4 x 100 on 1:45 (breaststroke) - just hold smooth
1 x 100 easy
10 x 100 Pull - 5 on 1:15, 5 on 1:10. First 5 paddles and pull-buoy, second 5 paddles and fins. Have to use a 6-beat kick with the fins on however. The first 5 overload the arms, the second 5 overload the legs.
