It's with extreme sadness that we report our great friend and champion Fran Crippen has passed away during a 10K open water race.
We won't speculate at this time any news, as both Barbara and I are traveling, we can only pass along the news, as well as the link to Swimming World Magazine.
In Fran's honor, I'll be posting some of his interviews from the video we were so blessed to be allowed to produce. He was one of the most humble, accommodating, and wonderful individuals I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wonderful family and tremendous circle of friends. The entire swimming community is hurting tonight. We'll miss him very much.
