There were a couple of good sets this morning, even if I did vary it a bit to keep up.
The pool was set up long course, which always allows you to get into a groove on your strokes.
Warm-up Set:
• 6 x 50 on :50 counting strokes
• 6 x 50 on :50 reducing the stroke count but going 1-2 seconds faster
• 6 x 50 on :50 going back to the original stroke count but going 1-2 seconds faster again
Main Set:
• 3 x 200 IM on 3:00 - 25 stroke / 25 free
• 3 x 200 IM on 3:00 - drop your worst stroke and substitute that with freestyle
• 3 x 200 IM on 3:00 - regular IM's
OK... so I'm not ready to do 9 x 200 IM's long course on 3:00. I added a bit more freestyle to the mix. :)
