No other swimmer holds more world records -- in more disciplines -- than Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen. In freestyle alone, she holds multiple world records at every distance from the 100 to the 5K. How does she do it? This DVD shows the things that Karlyn does, that you can add to your own swimming.

In GO SWIM FREESTYLE, Karlyn shares her key focus points for freestyle. Her six focus points work for every level of swimmer -- novice to elite -- and are the same concepts she teaches at her clinics and uses in her own training. The extraordinary swimming footage of Karlyn, combined with clear, step-by-step instruction, will help take your freestyle to the next level.

Each focus point is illustrated from multiple angles -- side, head-on, below, and rear -- and from above and below the surface.

Slow-motion and freeze-frame footage allows you to zoom in on key moves and really SEE how to do them.

Use Karlyn's favorite drills to practice each key element -- or just GO SWIM! The 6 focus points will help you improve, even without drills.

Bonus section includes: starts & breakouts... flip turns... open-water sighting & ins-and-outs... using fins for training... breathing techniques... arm recovery... slow-motion footage

KARLYN PIPES-NEILSEN has set so many FINA Masters World Records that it's hard to keep track (200+ at latest count, with 47 current). In 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2009 she was named World Masters Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World magazine, and from 1993 to 2003 she was named 8 times as US Masters Swimmer of the Year. She is the oldest athlete to set and/or hold an NCAA record, and is an age-group national champion in USMS open-water competition. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Karlyn has 20+ years of experience as a coach, clinic director, and motivational speaker.
