I'm in my hometown of Wooster, Ohio, this weekend to visit my Dad, and this means that I get to swim in the FABULOUS high school pool (50m indoors, set up for 8 lanes of 25-yard swimming). I went for a swim at 1 pm and was the only one in the pool. It doesn't get any better for zoning out and zoning in.WARMUP: 2000With Zura Alpha Fins, swim continuously through:150 FL/BK/BR Head-Lead Drills, then 100 BK150 FL/BK/BR Hand-Lead Drills, then 25 FR/75 BK150 FL/BK/BR Single-Arm Drills, then 50/50150 FL/Bk/BR 2L/2R Drills, then 75/25150 FL/Bk/BR Combo Drills, then 100 FRWith no equipment:250 Breast kick in all positions, focusing on drawing up the feetMAIN SET: 1000 equivalentWith long-belt tether, swim twice through the following:30 Head-Lead breast kicks, the 20 Hand-Lead breast kicks, then swim to the wall, turn, and swim back assisted, focus on drawing up the feet throughout.Add a pull buoy for 60 EZ strokes freestyleWith long-belt tether, swim twice through the following:50 breast with the tether (25 resisted/25 assisted), focus on drawing up the feetAdd a pull buoy for 60 EZ strokes freestyleSWIM SET: 1004 X 25 breaststroke on :30 sendoff.
