While it was yesterday, we did get word that Jason Lezak won the 50 free, and gave another thrilling anchor leg of the 400 freestyle relay at the Maccabiah Games.
His time in the 50 free was 22.19 and about an hour later, swam a 47.8 on the relay to give the US the Gold Medal.
Word is he left the blocks :02 seconds behind, but was able to pass the lead swimmer for the Gold. Sound familiar?
