Nice long stretch it out practice this morning mixing in 500's and 75's.
Very simple set, but I like the ability to swim longer, smooth strokes with some shorter, fine tuning type of stroke work.
Main Set (short course yards):
• 1 x 500 freestyle on 6:15
• 4 x 75 - IM on the 1:05 (these are fly, back, breast)
• 1 x 500 backstroke on 6:30
• 4 x 75 - IM on the 1:05 (these are fly, back, breast)
• 1 x 500 freestyle on 6:15
• 4 x 75 - IM on the 1:05 (these are fly, back, breast)
This set keeps you moving pretty well, but nothing too incredible fast. This gives the opportunity to work your walls, the rhythm of your strokes, and not too much fly so you don't break down in technique either. I like. :)
