As a coach, I like giving sets where everyone is on the same sendoff. These sets build team unity, and allow for a great deal of freedom. It's also interesting to observe how swimmers handle a set like this, especially the parts where the sendoff may be "easy" for them. Do they swim easy and simply take a lot of rest? Do they swim every other one all out? Do they do a gradual descend, but descend to crazy fast all out on #6? Do they drill with a lot of thought? Do they do dolphin kick or flutter kick, knowing they will barely make the sendoff unless they kick really fast? How would YOU challenge yourself on the following set?
6 X 100 choice on 2:15
50 easy
6 X 100 choice on 2:00
100 easy
6 X 100 choice on 1:45
