 What kind of set do you do when half your team is out with the flu, the other half is just back from two weeks of bronchitis ("bronchation"), and everybody is late because they're plowing out from 2 feet of snow?   

Open House!  Keep it mellow.  Allow lots of choice.  Let them start whenever they get there.  The healthy ones can push the pace.   Here's what our Masters did yesterday following 36 hours of snow....

WARMUP: 400

MAIN SET:  2200
400 pull, using your choice of a bilateral breathing pattern

2 X 75 choice, easy pace

400 IM (kick/drill/kick/drill in each stroke); fins optional

2 X 75 choice, a little faster

400 pull, using your choice of a bilateral breathing pattern

2 X 75 choice, a little faster

400 IM (kick/drill/kick/drill in each stroke); fins optional

2 X 75 choice, fastest

WARMDOWN:  200
