Try for one breath per length (2 max!).
1 X 500 freestyle pull (paddles optional)
Your choice of any bilateral breathing pattern. Use one that's longer than your usual bilateral pattern. E.g., if you usually breathe every 3, try breathing every 3/every 5. Or every 5/every 1. You can change pattern every 100, but keep it bilateral.
8 X 25 (fins optional) on :35
Two breaths per length.
2 X 300 freestyle pull (paddles optional)
No breathing until you take at least 2 strokes off each wall. Then breathe as much as you want.
8 X 25 (fins optional) on :30
No breathing until you take at least 4 strokes off each wall.
1 X 400 freestyle pull (paddles optional)
Your choice of breathing pattern. Every 4th length is faster than the other 3 lengths.

Breathe every 2/every 4 (or every 3/every 5).
