With triathlon season fast approaching, here's a set that will help you zero in on a sustainable pace.
The set is 2600 yards/meters.
The 400s should be at sustainable triathlon pace. (Ask yourself if you could sustain the pace for 20 to 30 minutes.)
On each round of 100s, your time should be roughly 2 seconds faster. The 100s are choice of stroke and equipment, but be consistent throughout the set.
Take 30 to 60 seconds rest after the 400s; 20 to 30 seconds rest on the 100s.
